"...and so my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country..."
Presidents Kennedy, Reagan, Lincoln, and many others have proclaimed the need for Americans to be vigilant and willing to sacrifice for the freedoms that have sustained us for almost 250 years.
They echoed our Founders, who were determined to craft a country that could withstand tyranny and aristocratic rule in an era of empires and monarchies.
Divine Providence, wisdom, humility, and a dedication to serve and sacrifice created a new nation, The United States of America. A Republic of the people, by the people, and for the people, as described in the Declaration of Independence. American values, and the Rule of Law, inspired by faith in our Creator, and the willingness of "the people" to sacrifice, have persevered to become the enemy of those who seek to destroy, and a Beacon of Freedom to the oppressed worldwide.
